Port Authority

Port Authority — is a tactical game about a dispatcher who transforms a chaotic harbor into a functioning system. You direct ships, allocate available berths, and plan route intersections in advance. A small boat can be maneuvered between larger vessels, but a truck will need much more space to turn. Get the order wrong, and port traffic will grind to a halt.

Each ship changes the layout

An arriving ship doesn't simply disappear after docking: it's unloaded and then re-enters the harbor. While some ships are entering the harbor, others are already leaving, creating a constantly shifting flow. You have to keep several directions in mind at once and adjust your course in areas where a clear passage seemed safe just a second ago.

Ports gradually become more complex, and especially careful maneuvers earn bonus points. Progression allows for improved capabilities, while familiar control principles must be applied in completely different conditions. Ultimately, a successful outcome depends not on a single successful route, but on the ability to maintain order throughout the entire water area.
