The Thing That Happened is an open-world action-adventure game with survival elements, set in a post-apocalyptic future. Join Marcus Draven as you journey into the ruined city of Jericho, where every day becomes a challenge, and resource retrieval, combat, and exploration determine your chances of survival.

Explore the ruins of a lost civilization

The open world is filled with abandoned buildings, remnants of a vanished civilization, and dangers lurking around every corner. Collect materials, find useful items, and craft the necessary equipment to be prepared for new threats. A variety of weapons, modifications, and a melee combat system allow you to customize your playstyle.

A journey through Jericho gradually reveals the city's history and the people who survived the disaster. Despite the harsh conditions, hope for rebirth still lingers. Develop your character's skills, battle enemies, explore new areas, and help Marcus find his place in a world forced to build its future virtually from scratch.
