Pathogenic

Pathogenic is a top-down roguelike action game in which you become a deadly parasite fighting for survival inside a human body. Devour cells, rebuild your own body, create powerful combinations of organelles, and gradually transform into the perfect pathogen, capable of resisting the entire immune system.

Evolution becomes your main weapon

Each run allows you to customize your body by attaching new organelles with various functions. Some are responsible for movement speed, others boost energy reserves, unlock ranged attacks, or make melee combat much more effective. The clever combination of dozens of modifications unlocks powerful synergies and allows for completely different character development options.

As you progress through procedurally generated organs of the human body, you'll encounter a variety of immune cells, dangerous parasites, and powerful bosses. Between runs, you can develop your plasmid tree, unlocking permanent upgrades for future attempts. Thanks to a combination of handcrafted design and procedural generation, each playthrough offers unique challenges and new tactical possibilities.
