Taguan is a psychological horror game with interactive storytelling elements, in which the player experiences the story of an ordinary Filipino worker, David Lagani. His ordinary life is transformed by rumors of a mysterious man breaking into houses and disappearing without a trace along with his victims. With each passing night, the feeling of anxiety grows stronger, and the anticipation of the unknown gradually becomes the main source of fear.
Fear Behind the Door
The gameplay is a walking simulator with an emphasis on exploration, atmosphere, and story development. The player observes the events unfolding, explores the environment, and gradually learns about the protagonist's story. The tension builds slowly, allowing each new scene to heighten the sense of danger and anticipation of an encounter with an unknown threat.
The visual style combines low-poly models with semi-realistic artwork, creating a unique atmosphere. The story is inspired by Filipino culture and revolves around themes of fear, the unknown, and the desire to escape danger. The average playtime is about one hour.
