Nuclear Epoch is a multiplayer open-world survival RPG where survival depends not only on weapons but also on your ability to build, trade, explore, and develop your own shelter. After a global nuclear catastrophe, civilization has vanished, leaving behind a dangerous wasteland teeming with mutants, valuable resources, and opportunities for those willing to risk everything for the future.

Each expedition changes the fate of the shelter

Dangerous zones are constantly rebuilt thanks to procedural generation, so no raid is ever the same. Searching for rare materials, encountering mutants, and fighting colossal bosses yield valuable resources for crafting powerful weapons and expanding your base. Gradually, a small shelter grows into a full-fledged settlement, where residents move in, workshops, trade facilities, and new opportunities for further development open.

The world actively evolves thanks to player interaction. You can open your own trading post, invite other survivors, make deals, and build an economy around the items you acquire. A deep crafting system, settlement development, free trade, and constant exploration allow you to choose your own path — become a hunter, a trader, a builder, or combine all of these roles in a single playthrough.

Features of the game

  • A large open post-apocalyptic world.

  • Construction of a shelter and development of your own settlement.

  • Procedurally generated zones and raids for valuable loot.

  • Crafting, trading, bosses and advanced social mechanics.

The distribution is weak... it doesn't go above 280 kbps...

KayletWell, at least your download is starting. I've been stuck connecting to peers for about 30 minutes now.

It's completely 'home-made'. Angular and crude to boot. The hefty weight (which is what attracted me) is completely unjustified. It looks like it's no more than 6-8 GB. I don't know if it'll feature some kind of unimaginable expanse or who knows what else, but it doesn't smell like that. Graphics are secondary to me, but this is simply disgraceful. The first Call of Duty looked better and more lively. I talked to two women in the camp during the story; both were wooden and voiceless... I wiped it off before leaving the gate.

Well... it's kind of stuck, but everything is somehow crude, clumsy... and these forays into some temples against skeleton knights, it's fucking awful... I got hooked on crafting and building... and it's also like a carbon copy of FEROCIOUS, only without the dinosaurs...

This game is a waste of your time and your computer's resources. It's one of those games that installs DIRECTLY INTO YOUR CART. Don't waste your time...

I really enjoyed the game. A brief description: There's a large map where you build a base, upgrade your gear, and explore points of interest. There are also forays — you travel to a themed labyrinth with tons of loot and a boss.

preheaterHow big is the main map? Are there any buildings or aggressive animals? Are there any NPCs with quests, or are you just entertaining yourself? Is this an online-only experience, or can you play solo?

XenosThe map is average (it's hard to compare it to anything else), there are buildings and dungeons, there are NPCs with quests, but the quests are like build this, kill that many, I'm running offline.

Damn, the weapons keep breaking here. It's really sad.

The developers didn't finish the game. No, they should have tried harder and made the weapons properly. in Gameso that it doesn't break... but it takes it and BREAKS! !

preheaterDo NPCs come to the city (base) you built? Or did you build a base and there's no one there except you?

kelt5There are NPCs in the city, you can meet them on the map and in dungeons. I can't say I feel lonely.

XenosMaybe armor? Weapons can be upgraded; they literally have a level.
In general, if they brought in optimization, fixed the bugs and added meaning (a deeper plot), then it would be perfect for me, but for now it’s fine for a run after work.

Yeah, I did a quick Google search - weapons break. They lose durability, they can jam, etc.
In general, you need to download and watch

add some meaning (a deeper plot)

Well, it's an online game. Projects like this usually don't have much of a plot.
