Rental Store Simulator – a video rental store simulator from Valance Games. Early access launched on February 24, 2025, with the full version released in the summer of 2026. The setting is set in the 1990s: cassette tapes, VCRs, consoles, and a line at the checkout.
DIY rental point
You start with a small space and a modest inventory of films. Each tape must first be purchased, then shelved, and once a customer has selected a film, scanned and issued. Customers pay by cash or card, and you process both methods yourself. After a while, the films are returned, and you also process the return. Later, game consoles and video players are added to the tapes, which are also available for rent, and snacks can be purchased for customers.
Graffiti and fallen leaves
Besides the sales, there's always manual labor in the store. Someone has spray-painted graffiti on the wall, leaves have piled up near the entrance, and trash is strewn about. If this isn't cleaned up, the store looks neglected. When the number of customers increases and one person can no longer keep up, you can hire employees and delegate some of the work to them.
Retro store for yourself
Earned money goes toward upgrading the store, expanding its product range, and decorating the space. The design can be customized, so your rental will gradually take on a look you like. The first-person perspective and measured pace make the game relaxing, and Steam players describe it as a relaxing retro simulator where day-to-day activities revolve around managing inventory and customers. Rental Store Simulator You can download the game via torrent to your PC directly from this page. 4GB of memory and a GTX 1050 are enough to run the game.
