Teller's Duty is a bank teller simulator set in a dystopian world, where a routine cash register job quickly turns into a daily struggle for survival. Thanks to his uncle's connections, the protagonist lands a position at the Bank of Kertasia, but a good position doesn't solve his problems. His mother's illness demands ever more money, and the dream of one day opening his own business seems out of reach. Therefore, each shift becomes much more important than the usual work with clients and paperwork.
Not all problems fit into the report
Customers come to banks for more than just transfers and cash withdrawals. Some try to circumvent the rules, others bring suspicious documents, and still others find themselves caught up in the government's absurd bureaucratic system. A seemingly simple procedure often conceals situations where it's impossible to please everyone. Sometimes you have to choose between your job description and what feels right to you.
The difficulties don't end after the department closes. The salary must be divided between daily expenses, supporting the family, and personal plans for the future. Decisions made during work gradually impact the protagonist's relationships, career, and social standing. As the story unfolds, the question arises: is it worth following the rules when the system itself has long since ceased to be fair?
