Alruna: End of History

Alruna: End of History is a 2D Metroidvania adventure set in a surreal world experiencing its own end-of-an-era. Material reality has all but disappeared, and its remnants have been consumed by necro-industrialists, who have transformed salvation and enlightenment into a new form of obsession. As the flower nymph Alruna, you must navigate this strange world, trying to understand what's happening and what lies behind the promises of a paradisiacal future.

There's a new secret around every corner

Exploration is central to the adventure. The vast, interconnected world constantly encourages curiosity, revealing shortcuts, hidden rooms, and unexpected finds where you least expect them. New abilities gradually expand your movement options, allowing you to reach previously inaccessible areas, discover useful upgrades, and uncover additional story details.

During her journey, Alruna gains new forms and abilities linked to the elements. Fire, water, and lightning transform her exploration and help her overcome obstacles. Her arsenal is rounded out by swift dashes, powerful jumps, and a special weapon that allows her to use her own shots as part of acrobatic combos. All this makes traversing the world as crucial a part of the game as fighting numerous enemies and enormous bosses.
