Dread Fields

Dread Fields — is an atmospheric horror film about escaping the city for a remote village, where the silence is heavier than the noise of the metropolis. You sell your apartment, buy a house with a small farmstead, and hope to start anew. The place is called Dread FieldsThe name sounds strange, but solitude even seems comfortable. No one is looking. No one is asking. Just a field, a house, and an old well in the yard.

Everyday life that begins to weigh on you

In the morning, you need to milk the cow, chop firewood, fetch water, and feed the chickens. The grass won't mow itself, the garden will wither without care, and you might find mushrooms or get lost in the forest. Fishing, gardening, feeding the cat — it all seems like a typical rural routine. Physical labor is indeed tiring, but along with the fatigue comes a strange feeling of being watched.

The village seems empty, but this impression is deceptive. At night, the silence changes, and familiar sounds take on a different tone. The forest behind the house becomes darker than it should be, and the old man who sold the plot comes to mind too often. The story unfolds through everyday life, details, and hints, and the ending depends on how you live this new life.
