Slimeward is an idle strategy game about a village where a giant slug lands one day, completely upending the lives of the locals. Attempts to get rid of the monster quickly end in failure — it begins spawning countless smaller slugs, which fill the surrounding area. Instead of continuing the futile struggle, the villagers decide to use these creatures as a resource for the settlement's development, gradually turning the problem into a source of their own strength.
Slugs become the basis for village growth
Small slimes bring materials used to construct new buildings, strengthen the base, and expand the settlement. Over time, workshops, fortifications, and new resource extraction methods appear, along with the ability to hire more powerful mercenaries to defend the village. The further development progresses, the greater the threat from monsters becomes, and the more investment is required for further growth.
Gradually, a full-fledged defense system is built around the village, with improved fighters, buffs, and constant territorial expansion. Some upgrades speed up resource acquisition, others help more effectively fend off waves of slimes, or strengthen mercenaries for future battles. Even after a long time, new upgrades and challenges are added, so the settlement continues to grow almost without stopping.
