Heartbeat House

Heartbeat House is a romantic visual novel in the format of a reality show, where eight participants live together in a luxurious villa, build relationships, experience jealousy, flirt, and gradually begin to reveal sides of themselves that the cameras didn't expect. The player finds themselves in this show not as an observer, but as a fully-fledged participant, whose decisions determine the sympathies, conflicts, and development of relationships within the house.

The show is more memorable than it seems.

Conversations, dates, and ordinary everyday scenes gradually begin to feel stranger. Someone reacts inappropriately. Some dialogue takes on a completely different meaning upon replay, and small details begin to add up to the feeling that something is amiss behind the beautiful television image.

The game doesn't force players into a single romantic arc, allowing them to build relationships with multiple characters at once, testing the limits of trust, and breaking other people's expectations. Meanwhile, the show's participants live their own lives: they argue, grow closer, hide their pasts, and remember the player's actions. The further the relationship progresses, the more obvious it becomes that some secrets were best left untouched.
