BrokenLore: DON'T PLAY is a first-person psychological horror game about a hikikomori named Hideo, who receives a strange gaming console and gradually begins to lose touch with reality. His desire to become famous and escape his isolated life quickly develops into an obsessive urge to play the experimental game, which begins to affect not only the hero's consciousness but also the world around him.
The apartment is slowly becoming less safe.
After each game session, the familiar environment begins to change more and more. Rooms look different, time behaves strangely, and inexplicable things increasingly appear from dark corners. The most disturbing thing is that the changes occur gradually rather than abruptly, forcing you to constantly question where the game ends and Hideo's own distorted reality begins.
The five levels of this experimental game constantly change the rules of the game. New mechanics, hidden threats, and strange events draw the hero deeper into a digital nightmare. Against this backdrop, the story begins to increasingly weigh on themes of loneliness, dependence on others' approval, and the fear of ultimately losing one's identity.
