A Game About Making A Planet — is a small space game lasting a couple of hours, where an entire planet gradually coalesces from a scattering of particles. You don't pilot a ship, fight a war, or save the galaxy — you simply move the gravity well, bring particles together, and watch the mass begin to grow. It's almost addictive: at first, there's just fine dust, but after a while, a dense core forms.
Gravity works as the main tool
The cursor doesn't attract particles continuously, but in rhythmic pulses, so it's important to choose favorable locations and collect matter at the right points. When the particles become large enough, the planet begins to collect them automatically. Improvements gradually add new ways to speed up the process: asteroids, enhanced gravity currents, and other effects that transform manual collection into a more powerful cosmic chain.
Everything is built around the simple pleasure of growth. No unnecessary mechanics, lengthy introductions, or heavy reaction demands. The main mode provides a clear goal — to collect the planet — and the endless mode allows you to continue without rushing and see how far you can develop the upgrade system. It's more of a short, meditative game than a grand adventure.
