Rumbral

Rumbral — is a dark puzzle platformer where you wake up in a forest with no memory, trying to figure out what happened there and who you were. All around you are ruined structures, strange mechanisms, and the feeling that this place has been abandoned for a long time, but is not empty at all. Everything is conveyed through atmosphere and detail rather than direct explanation, forcing you to piece together the story yourself.

A world that does not stand still

The forest is constantly changing, and familiar places can look different when viewed from a different angle. Mysterious fluids allow one to see another version of space — the past or a distorted reflection, revealing what is normally hidden. This influences the path forward, because some things only exist in one direction.

Puzzles revolve around interacting with the environment and understanding how the world works. You need to activate mechanisms, search for hidden objects, and sometimes backtrack to spot details you previously missed. Hints about the protagonist's past emerge, but the answers aren't immediately apparent, requiring you to dig deeper to find them.
