Upstairs — is a short point-and-click adventure in which you're trying to escape a building where you've spent too much time. The doors seem open, there's a way out, but everything around you behaves as if there's no exit. People look at you strangely, answer irrelevant questions, and sometimes even pretend you're asking the wrong questions. From the very beginning, you get the feeling that the problem isn't just with the walls, but with the place itself and how it's designed.
Words are more important than actions
You can't just click on everything and wait for the result. Conversations carry weight, and how you respond determines what happens next. Sometimes the right response opens a path, and sometimes it closes it completely. Items don't work on their own either — it's important to understand why they're needed and where to use them. Everything hinges on attention and the ability to grasp the meaning in strange dialogues.
With each new floor, the situation becomes less clear. At first, it seems like a strange place with unusual people, but then a sense of interconnectedness begins to creep in. The light humor gradually gives way to something more serious, and at some point, you're no longer just thinking about the exit, but trying to figure out what exactly is happening and why you ended up here.
