Barfender — is a co-op bar simulator where the calm of work gives way to complete chaos: customers get drunk, orders fly in one after another, and any delay turns the bar into a brawl. Everything happens simultaneously — you pour beer, mix cocktails, catch broken glasses, and try to keep the bar from collapsing under the pressure of the crowd.
A bar that's getting out of control
At first, everything seems manageable, but as the shift progresses, problems begin to pile up. Someone's unhappy with their order, someone's about to start a fight, someone's just decided to steal a bottle and leave. At this point, you're forced to juggle between tasks: continuing to serve, defusing conflict, or saving what's not already broken. Any mistake immediately increases chaos, and instead of normal operations, a chain reaction of new problems begins.
In a co-op, the situation becomes even more tense. You need to negotiate, divide roles, and stay out of each other's way, otherwise the bar will fall apart in minutes. At the same time, there's always a moment when things get so bad that the only option is to improvise — throwing objects, dispersing the crowd, and trying to somehow regain control.
