Graveyard Keeper 2 — an unusual symbiosis of RPG and sandbox from Lazy Bear Games, a sequel to the cult medieval gravedigger simulator. The developers have significantly expanded the scale of the events — now the hero will be concerned not only with a cemetery but with an entire doomed city.

The Grand Inquisitor returns

Years have passed since the events of the first game, and the eponymous hero has earned a new title — he is now known as the Grand Inquisitor. Beyond the fortress walls, a once-inaccessible city, once only rumored, awaits him. The gates are finally open, but instead of living citizens, the streets are filled with former inhabitants, transformed into aimless, walking corpses. The only way out is to retake the city block by block, gradually restoring the settlement to its former glory.

From ruins to thriving megacity

After clearing the territory, it's time for urban development: rebuilding housing, opening shops and markets. As the population grows, so does the hero's main source of income — every new corpse brings fresh corpses, bones, and rare skulls, essential for expanding the business. A new cemetery will sprawl beyond the city walls, and an updated tech tree will unlock crypts, columbaria, and ceremonial tombstones.

Undead Army and Automation

A key new feature is the ability to use the undead as a workforce: zombies mine resources, perform heavy labor, and, with the right training, become warriors. Prepare armor, weapons, and construct defensive towers, as the city is constantly threatened by a new wave of undead invasion. The updated talent system allows for fine-tuning of character development.

Dark humor and familiar faces

In the city's neighborhoods, you'll encounter both old acquaintances and eccentric new citizens. The chatty talking skull will once again appear alongside the hero — but this time, it's a completely different character, giving the dialogue a fresh spin on the series' signature dark humor. Download torrent Graveyard Keeper 2 Worth it for those who appreciate grotesque humor and deep management.

Hmm, part two, you say? Yeah, yeah... I've been waiting for it, you know, like the manuscript of an ancient artifact. Didn't wait for it, you say? You won't, unless you improve your reaction speed. *mumbles something about pixels*

Well, it looks cool, in the first part there was still not enough content and the grinding was also unpleasant, I hope in the second part all aspects will be better

1757gWhat's there to grind for? Zombies did almost all the work. You could just kick the can and have fun all day long. Money is zombies. Harvests are zombies. Production is zombies.

ErlingYou have to grind at the beginning, and you'll have to watch out for zombies anyway; there won't be full automation.

1757gAt first, yes, a little, but damn, you have to play with your hands too. And as for automation... Well, I don't know. Maybe sorting into boxes manually. Otherwise, practically EVERYTHING is done with the help of zombies.

Erling, what zombies, I usually beat the game before I got around to these zombies)) The main problem with the game is that there is nowhere to put the money and there is no interest in producing anything in the late game because of this(

Well, the fact that it's coming out so soon and with only 3 girls vlogs is pretty unusual, but I like it

For those who don't know: in the real ending of Part 1, we were divided by the red-eyed man into a good part and an evil one (it's the same person, just one part has all the good qualities, and the other has all the evil ones), the good one went to the village and the cemetery, and the evil one went to the city, that's why some characters say that they saw a person similar to us who was making a joke in the city, well, and accordingly, we will play for the evil version, that is, we will start from the beginning, but for the evil side in parallel with the good one, and the good one will do what we did in Part 1

An excellent game with strange gameplay, in a good way. Personally, I was left with a bad taste in my mouth after the first part, where you have to dismantle a dead man for parts and then mold whatever you want from his organs. Well, the gameplay is cool, I wonder what they’ll add to the second part.

Erling"The zombies did almost all the work."

My friend, zombies start appearing around mid-game, they're pretty mediocre at first, and decent ones unlock closer to endgame. So, I don't even know what you're talking about. You're telling me you start out with a dozen or so upgraded zombies with unlocked technologies, and you're just running around like a king, reaping the rewards.

The game's problem lies elsewhere: the stifling grind and the miserable economy. Instead of doing what you came here for — developing the cemetery, the church, theology, surgery, and alchemy — receiving profits and using them to buy materials or NPC services, you become a general laborer.

You will literally be a mason, a carpenter, a farmer, a surgeon, a preacher, an alchemist, a scribe, a blacksmith, a gardener, a winemaker, a brewer, a glassblower, a cook, a fisherman, a jeweler, and who knows what else.

And this is already a question for game design: instead of properly developing the main activity, the game forces you to personally do everything in a row, because otherwise its economy simply does not work.

So the "zombies do almost all the work" argument is especially amusing. You still have to live to see those zombies, and until then, you're not a cemetery keeper, but a laborer with a permanent employment contract.

@Erling Or I'm waiting for a link to a video of you playing through the game. It'll be interesting to see what it's like to grind. "What's there to grind? The zombies did almost all the work. You could just kick the can and have fun all day long." from the start.
