Don't Starve Elsewhere — is survival in an expanded world, where danger lurks not only around but within the environment itself. Locations stretch upward and downward, opening up new levels of exploration. From icy peaks to dark depths, each location requires preparation and attention, as a mistake here almost always ends equally badly.
A world that presses from all sides
The environment is constantly changing, making it difficult to settle into a single rhythm. In some places, you have to contend with cold and altitude, in others, moisture and confined spaces. Weather conditions and biome features force you to plan your actions in advance, otherwise any advance becomes a risky attempt to hold out just a little longer.
The further you go, the more intense the pressure becomes. The space becomes less predictable, familiar routes stop working, and resources become scarce. You have to find new paths, change your approach, and make decisions faster than before to avoid getting into a situation where you can't escape.
