Uncanny Valley: Checkpoint — is a dark document verification simulator with elements of survival and moral decision making, set in the aftermath of a nuclear disaster. A mutagenic virus spreads across the country, and the small town of Saplav closes its gates. One person remains at the checkpoint, making decisions: allow entry, isolate, or eliminate.
Duty at the border
Every day, dozens of people arrive at the gates. Each one has documents, a story, and fear in their eyes. Identification cards, health certificates, and entry permits must be carefully checked. The slightest mistake could allow an infected person into the city or condemn an innocent person to isolation, so every decision is made under pressure of time.
Over time, signs of infection become more difficult to recognize. Some mutations are immediately noticeable, while others are hidden behind behavior or strange appearances. It's necessary to observe people's gestures, words, and reactions, because sometimes the danger only becomes apparent when it's too late to change anything.
Features of the game
Thirty days of service at an isolated checkpoint.
