DrainSim

DrainSim — is a simulator of restoring an urban drainage system after heavy rains and floods. The player assumes the role of an emergency drainage specialist tasked with restoring normal water flow in the streets. Using pumps, generators, and hand tools, they must clear blockages, unclog canals, and gradually save areas of the city from flooding.

Planning rescue operations before departure

Before starting a mission, the player receives information about the area: time of day, surface type, distance to power sources, and the extent of the flooding. Based on this information, a set of equipment is compiled. Sometimes a portable power station and several pumps are required; in other cases, hand tools for clearing clogged drains and drainage channels are sufficient.

The work takes place right on the city streets, where water fills roads, courtyards, and utility drains. By gradually clearing blockages and restoring water flow, the player watches as the water level recedes. Successfully completed tasks increase the specialist's reputation and unlock access to new types of equipment.
