New Face On The Block

New Face on the Block is a first-person psychological horror story, structured as a slow immersion into an alien neighborhood and its hidden past. You are a new resident of an early 1990s apartment complex, where ordinary facades conceal strange habits, hidden secrets, and a sense that something has long since gone awry. The story unfolds gradually, through observations, discoveries, and conversations that initially seem insignificant.

Silence between the walls

Exploration of locations becomes the primary means of progression. Apartments, entryways, and courtyards are filled with objects that bear traces of past events. The player must carefully examine the environment, find hidden details, and interact with objects to reconstruct the chronology of events and understand their role in them.

Simple tasks are tightly woven into the plot and heighten the sense of tension. The atmosphere is built on anticipation and uncertainty, with rare, jarring moments only highlighting the psychological pressure. As you progress, you'll be forced to make decisions that impact the story's development and lead to different endings, making each playthrough a personal and unsettling experience.
