Banished Knight

Banished Knight is a top-down 3D action roguelike set after Ragnarok. The world has fallen, the gods have vanished, and you are an exiled undead knight, robbed of your former powers. The only way forward lies through Svartalfheim, where you must fight among ruins and monsters, gather resources, and restore Valkyrie statues to reclaim your lost destiny.

The Path Through the Underworld

Each run is a journey through dangerous areas of the underworld, filled with enemies and resources. By defeating monsters, you earn evolution materials, unlock new weapons, and gradually progress towards the ruined Valkyrie statues. Restoring them isn't just symbolic — it directly strengthens your character and shapes your subsequent progress, turning exploration into a meaningful, step-by-step restoration of your power.

The combat system is built on pure action and split-second decision-making. There's no automatic or "pay-to-win" mechanics: under pressure from attacks, you choose between parrying, dodging, and immediately counterattacking. Each encounter offers multiple options, and success depends on understanding timing, positioning, and weapon selection. The system, while simple at first, reveals depth as you master it.
