Key Your Debt

Key Your Debt is a minimalist game about debt, numbers, and endless keystrokes. Using a numeric keypad, the player literally turns keystrokes into money, trying to escape a financial hole. It's simple at first glance, but the mechanical routine quickly conceals a compulsive rhythm.

Numbers instead of freedom

The core process revolves around number keys, each of which generates dollars. As you press them faster, the amount increases, and with it comes the need to optimize the process. You can open the store at any time by pressing Enter and view improvements that affect the speed, efficiency, and style of earning.

Pausing unlocks access to statistics and settings, allowing you to evaluate your progress and rethink your strategy. Gradually, controls evolve into a conscious system, where knowing the layout and making smart purchases become the key to paying off your debt. There are no enemies or levels here — just you, the keyboard, and numbers.

Installation:
