Calyx

Calyx is a real-time strategy game combining base building and tactical defense against an aggressive alien lifeform. The player finds themselves the sole survivor of cryosleep on the surface of a desert planet where the Avaris corporation planned to mine resources. The main objective is to establish ore mining and hold the line before the Calixes consume the entire territory.

The economy is under pressure

The base is built around energy infrastructure and mining nodes. Energy powers collectors, processing facilities, and defensive structures, so system failures immediately weaken defenses. Sending processed ore into orbit generates credits, which are used to expand production, build walls, and deploy turrets.

Development requires a constant choice between defense and offense. Calyxes spread rapidly and change behavior, forcing tactical adaptation. Research unlocks new buildings, vehicles, and orbital strikes, allowing you to strengthen your army and transform your base into a resilient outpost capable of withstanding the growing threat.
