Late Hours is a first-person psychological horror game set during an endless night shift in a dilapidated 24-hour burger joint. The player is left alone behind the counter, performing routine tasks, while familiar reality gradually begins to crumble. The orders keep coming, time drags on strangely, and the feeling of someone else's presence grows ever more intrusive.
Night shift without a break
The story is told through everyday actions and the atmosphere of the place. As Dylan or Rachel, the player encounters crumbling relationships, fatigue, and a sense of hopelessness. The restaurant's environment gradually changes, and environmental details hint that something dangerous, connected to the place's past, lurks behind the walls and in the shadows.
The horror is built without abrupt techniques, relying on tension, silence, and anticipation. The realistic narrative connects the characters' personal dramas with an external threat, transforming an ordinary shift into a test where every decision and every action brings them closer to inevitable consequences.
