Honrang is an atmospheric first-person horror game that immerses the player in the confined space of a Korean university trapped in a time loop. Waking up in a lecture hall begins a disturbing cycle where hallways repeat, familiar details become distorted, and the sense of reality gradually blurs. There is no obvious path forward, and every action can alter the player's perception of the events unfolding.
Endless corridors and anomalies
Exploration revolves around observing and recording strange deviations in the environment. Seemingly imperceptible changes, disappearing objects, and disrupted spatial logic become the key to progress. The player must carefully examine locations, piece together details, and make decisions, risking either getting closer to the solution or becoming even more entangled in a recurring nightmare.
Gradually, the university reveals its hidden history, woven through local legends and folklore. The visual style and hand-crafted models create the feeling of a place filled with long-held fear. The truth is not presented directly, but rather gleaned from hints, leaving room for interpretation and multiple possible endings.
