CoRoT is a first-person psychological horror game designed for a single, intense session in silence and darkness. You find yourself inside an abandoned house that reacts to your presence, memorizes your steps and pauses, and seems to have a will of its own. Fear arises not from threats, but from anticipation, silence, and the certainty that the house is closely watching your every move.
The House That Listens
You come to in a dank basement, with no memory of how you got there, and begin to ascend through distorted corridors. Rooms shift when you blink, walls seem to shift, and discovered audio tapes reveal fragments of a disturbing story. The space reacts to your presence, heightening the tension and gradually eroding your sense of control and security.
As you move further, you realize the goal isn't escape. The story is told through sound, silence, and observation, forcing you to doubt your own conclusions. Every step resounds too loudly, every wait drags on, and loneliness becomes an instrument of terror. The important thing here isn't survival, but understanding what it is that wants to be heard.
