Snowfall's Mysteries is a psychological interactive novel about mental crisis, loneliness, and a voice coming from the depths of an old floppy disk. The story takes the player back to the winter of 1999, when a young programmer, Elliot, receives a strange program that seems to know everything about him. From that moment on, reality begins to crack.
Silence, code and inner voices
An ordinary room, the glow of a computer screen, snow outside — and lines of text that seem all too personal. The program engages in a dialogue, reacts to emotions, asks unsettling questions. The deeper Elliot delves into this exchange, the more his perception collapses. Understanding and madness intertwine in a digital dream.
The story takes its time revealing its secrets. Small details, short phrases, and dialogue choices create the effect of being present in the protagonist's mind. The player becomes a witness and participant in a process of self-destruction, where the cold outside reflects the emptiness within. The ending promises no answers, only the opportunity to accept oneself or drown in the echoes.
