The Corruption — is a first-person narrative thriller set in a dead digital world where the mind is the last asset. The game offers no salvation, only the realization of the irreversible.
When I disappear, who will remain?
You move through a space that doesn't recognize you. The walls don't reflect, the files whisper, the architecture repeats like a dream. Weapons? Sometimes there are. But more often, there are only echoes, glitches, shadows of others. You are not a hero. You are a fragment of something alien.
The game doesn't track your progress. It tracks where you left off. Your progress is measured by the depth of your immersion. Animations break, the world flickers, the sound fades into silence. There's nothing to "fix" here.
Features of the game
Narrative without cues: you gather the gist from the environment and pauses.
Game mechanics disappear like memories in the hero's head.
The setting is built on the visual degradation of digital architecture.
The sound picture is destruction, emptiness, noise.
