Undertale – a unique role-playing game with some scrolling shooter elements, created by just one person: Toby Fox. It follows the adventures of a young boy who falls into a dungeon and must fight alien monsters, befriend them, and recruit them into his ranks.
Gameplay: In the opening minutes, the gameplay seems classic for Japanese turn-based RPGs — a silent hero wanders through fairytale-like locations, converses with other characters, and occasionally gets into battle. This is where the differences become apparent. Undertale It's not necessary to kill everyone; on the contrary, a peaceful resolution to a skirmish is rewarded. There are many methods for this, from simple conversation and a friendly hug to fleeing the battlefield and agreeing to a draw.
Those with an aggressive stance won't be bored either – the game's combat system is quite unique. All battles are turn-based, similar to scrolling shooters, where each turn involves dodging enemy attacks. This gameplay never gets boring, as the battle rules change almost every battle.
Another difference Undertale What sets the game apart from classic RPGs is that the player's actions actually influence the outcome of events in the plot, which is why the game contains multiple endings.
