Harmony Of Fear

Harmony Of Fear – a short first-person psychological horror game set in Indonesian folklore, released on March 28, 2025. Developed by two brothers from the ThreeFrauds studio, it has nothing in common with similarly named Harmony in the Wild or Harmony: The Fall of Reverie.

Trip to the villa

The main character, Dian, is a music teacher. She takes her students to a secluded villa to combine relaxation with preparation for an upcoming competition. The trip quickly turns into a nightmare. Strange figures appear in the darkness, eerie melodies echo throughout the house, and reality begins to distort. The greater the fear, the clearer it becomes that the villa has a dark past, and Dian must discover what happened there and protect her students from a threat she doesn't yet understand.

Slow fear and sharp scares

The game is story-driven. The tension builds gradually, then is released by sharp, loud jump scares. The player's main task is to wander around the house, explore rooms, and search for necessary items. The game's scares are primarily due to the sound and visuals: the art style is deliberately not hyperrealistic, and there are occasional scenes featuring blood and bodies. The developers specifically state that they created the mechanics, levels, plot, and animation themselves, using neural networks only for the music and background sounds.

Indonesian voice acting
