Jeepney Simulator 2 – a Filipino jeepney driver simulator from Spacezero Interactive. The game entered early access in April 2024, with the full version released on November 28th of that year. You drive passengers around the bustling city of Manella, count out change, and try to meet your daily quota.

The city of Manella

Manela is based on the real Manila, and the names make this clear: it features Tondoo, Rizzo El Park, and BBC, along with locations not found in the real city. The roads are lined with traffic lights, pedestrians, and heavy traffic, making it difficult to follow the route. Accidents and crashes occur, and there are gas stations and tow trucks. The money you earn can be spent on more than just a car: houses are also available for purchase.

Passengers and plan

In Career mode, time is of the essence. You need to pick up passengers, collect fares, and give them change, while your revenue target grows daily. Meanwhile, you learn routes, hone your driving skills, and upgrade your jeepney. For those who simply want to drive around and explore the city, the unlimited Free Mode with customization options and music is perfect. The jeepney is fully customizable, from its appearance to the details. Passenger voiceovers are in Filipino, with some of the lines recorded by the players themselves.

Police and fines

Violations don't go unpunished. For driving illegally, ditching in the wrong place, or hitting a car, you could be chased by patrol cars, SUVs, and even armored personnel carriers. If caught, your choices are: pay a fine, go to jail, or pay a bribe. The driving experience is designed with an emphasis on realism: the steering wheel and gearshift move in the cabin, gears shift based on revs, and turn signals function.
