Forza Horizon 3

Forza Horizon 3 brought the Horizon festival to Australia and, for the first time, put the player in charge. Now you're not just a guest racer, but the festival's boss, deciding where to open new venues, which races to hold, and how to attract more viewers. The game was developed by the British studio Playground Games.

Australia from coast to desert

The map is composed of a wide variety of locations. There are the beaches of Byron Bay and the skyscrapers of Surfers Paradise, the vineyards of the Yarra Valley, and the winding Great Ocean Road along the ocean. Inland, the Outback begins with red earth and dusty roads, while in tropical forests, the roads dive beneath dense canopies. The transition from one zone to another is immediately noticeable, both in the landscape and in how the car handles on different surfaces.

A festival that grows with you

Every race, stunt, and record brings fans. The more fans there are, the larger the festival becomes: new stages open, and existing ones get additional races. Speed radars, drift zones, and ramps with dangerous jumps are scattered along the roads. Some demonstration races pit the player against planes and helicopters, rather than cars. The campaign can be played with up to four players, and the editor allows you to create and share your own events.

Garage for hundreds of cars

The game features over 350 cars, from light SUVs and buggies to hypercars and Australian utes. Each can be repainted and upgraded, and opponents are controlled by Drivatars, which mimic the driving style of real players. Two major expansions were later released: Blizzard Mountain, featuring snowy mountains, and Hot Wheels, featuring tracks based on the famous orange tracks.
