Devil May Cry 3

The dynamic combat in Devil May Cry 3 sits comfortably alongside a tense, dramatic story. Although it's the third installment in the celebrated slasher franchise, it's the first chronologically, serving as a prequel. Dante must face a challenge from his brother, Vergil, who intends to open a gate that will allow demons to invade the human world. To do so, he needs an amulet, which Dante holds. Meanwhile, another family story unfolds: Vergil is aided by a certain Arkham, who is being pursued by his daughter, a demon hunter known simply as Lady. She doesn't want her father to live because he killed her mother.

- Not only Dante is a playable character, but also Vergil, Arkham and Lady.
The bosses are great, I mean, terrible! Many, like Cerberus, Geryon, and Beowulf, reference various myths and beliefs.
