Hmm, the game seems to have been well-received on Steam, but people are complaining about the clunky interface and grinding. There are a lot of mechanics that force you to spend time, resources, and money, thus creating artificial difficulty. Overall, it's as if the game designers were really thinking about monetization and a mobile release. I think those with a lot of free time will enjoy it.

Does anyone know if they're making a Russian translation based on the game? It looks fun, but it's kind of hard to follow the story with English...

SKAYNETThe original game? I guess I'm out of touch. But this game is basically okay. The atmosphere honestly reminded me of Fallout. And the way the items are thrown out of the backpack, the sound and animation are like Diablo I. Oh, the nostalgia.

Turn-based RPG with grinding and random cooldown.

The closest analogue from Russian (fucking) developers is "StoneShard".
But the "shard" is much more player-friendly, with its interface, introduction to the game, minimalist dialogue, and so on...
Yes, Stoneshard has its huge flaws, like randomness, where one unfortunate crit can set you back an hour of gameplay. Or the slowness of the process, where you're stomping from one side of the map to the other for half an hour in real time. But this project also has all of these issues.

У Subterrain: Mines of Titan the disadvantages are worse.
- Not an intuitive interface.
- Overload of text blocks (not in Slavic).
- Huge areas where you can easily get lost without a "guide".
- Well, the standard "luck", which can either smile at you, causing you to get past one enemy a little faster, or turn away from you, causing you to roll back to a save.

The only advantages are:
- Complexity. The world feels more rich and alive than the cardboard-like Stoneshard, where you just grind to rebuild your caravan. Here, they try to immerse you in the world through TONS of text (which is bad), but the developers' effort is still evident.

Honestly, these kinds of "turn-based" RPGs should be tied to player skill and the "Step and Hit" mechanics. When every battle depends not on random misses and crits, but on your tactics, using environmental elements to your advantage, and so on. But neither in Stoneshard nor in Subterrain: Mines of Titan, there is no such thing... "Random will still have its say and you will die."

But if you compare, then Stoneshard, with its unfriendly world, grind, stretched out nature and randomness, is better than this project. Well, that means something...

The game is interesting, but it's a shame there's no Russian language. It's both interesting and short, and it's one of those cases where there are too few quests and the weapons are sort of there, but not quite there, although I'd love to see the machine gun branch expanded.
