Heavy Truck Simulator – a mining simulator from G11 SA, where you drive quarry trucks and heavy equipment yourself. The game's motto can be summed up in four words: mine, transport, sell, and repair. Unlike typical truck simulators with highways between cities, here you work in quarries, open-pit mines, and off-road.
At first, the company is small. You need to mine the ore and transport it to the buyer yourself, and all stages of this chain fall on you. Completing missions unlocks expansion: new mines, quarries, and stone quarries, which gradually form a complete network. The single-player campaign consists of challenging missions, and in between them, you can simply drive around the open world and explore the off-road terrain.
Heavy equipment wears out quickly, and maintenance is a routine part of the workday. The repair and maintenance system is comprehensive and covers every vehicle, with repairs required not only on the truck itself but also on its equipment. Parts and modifications are tailored to the specific job: muddy roads require one setup, while a deep quarry requires another. The completed fleet can be displayed in the garage for complete viewing.
The terrain itself makes it difficult to transport the cargo. Rockfalls occur in the quarry, dirt roads become muddy, and it's easy to get stuck in a swamp in the rainy lowlands. The weather can be extreme and also affects the journey. The driving physics are realistic, so a multi-ton vehicle must be driven carefully on a slippery slope.
