Chinese Train Trip – a small first-person train travel simulator across China, released on March 31, 2022. It's a laid-back game about traveling: you walk, buy tickets, ride in a train, and get off at stations.

Ticket to an unknown city

The premise is simple. The protagonist accidentally finds a train ticket and sets off for a city he's never been to before. There are no enemies or time-based challenges; everything is built around walking and observation. The world is open to free exploration, and you can wander around on foot, exploring the surroundings of stations and a small Chinese town. The genre is most similar to walking simulators, but instead of a single location, there's a route with stops.

Train and station

The game's main activity revolves around the railroad. First, you buy a ticket, then board the right train and travel to the station. You can get off at any stop and explore. Traveling isn't just about the ride: there are souvenirs you can buy, and you can also buy and sell items, so you can make a small profit from your trip.
