Tennis Manager 2022 – a tennis manager from Rebound, released on May 17, 2022. This is the second installment in the series, following Tennis Manager 2021: you manage your own academy, scout for talent among five thousand athletes, and guide them through a season of more than two thousand tournaments.

Academy and money

The work begins not on the court, but in the office. The board of directors sets goals, the budget is limited, and every investment must be justified. Clay courts can be built specifically for a specific player or a scouting center can be upgraded to more quickly evaluate newcomers. Coaches, physiologists, tactical specialists, and psychologists are hired, and the training program is tailored to each player's strengths. The academy agent has gained greater influence in this area: they negotiate contracts, player goals, and agreements with equipment suppliers. Even press conferences influence how athletes and management view you.

Match in 3D

You can watch games in a 3D engine and intervene as they unfold: request more powerful serves, move the play to the baseline, and impose your own tempo on your opponent. In 2022, animation and computer behavior were improved, making shot selection more accurate. You can use a game plan from a famous match from previous years or upload your own and share it with other players.

What has changed since 2021?

A player editor has been added, allowing you to define your style: a powerful serve or a sturdy baseline fighter, right down to the height of the ball's toss. The season-ending tournament now uses a round-robin format: groups of four players, the top eight advance, and even a couple of points can decide the title. The Next Gen U21 Final and Junior Finals now use the same format. The weekly schedule, uniforms, contracts, and earnings are all organized in separate panels.
