The Darkness 2

The Darkness 2 — a sequel to the dark shooter from Starbreeze Studios, developed by a different company, Digital Extremes. The game follows the story of hitman Jackie Estacado, who has already risen through the ranks to become the top mobster in New York City. Of course, it was to be expected that those who would dethrone him from this majestic throne to make room for themselves would emerge. And these would-be assassins, members of the organization "The Brotherhood," will be confronted by the player as Jackie Estacado throughout the game. As the story unfolds, the hero will also learn something new about his own life.

The hero is a professional killer, so he's skilled with firearms. Furthermore, he's consumed by the forces of Darkness, granting him various demonic abilities. One of the sequel's key innovations is the ability to combine pistol shooting with supernatural powers.
- Unlike The Darkness, here, instead of four imp minions, the hero is accompanied by only one. He acts as an assistant during battles with enemies and in various other situations. At the same time, in The Darkness 2 It became possible to play as the demon himself - stealth missions were specially designed for him.
