Changes:Updated to version 1.14a (Build 19946587).[Changelog]
Instruments of Destruction – a physics-based demolition sandbox from Radiangames, the full version was released on May 10, 2024, after early access. You work as a vehicle tester at Sharpe Industries, traveling to remote corners of the world and testing the latest machine's ability to destroy.
Flying bulldozer and missile tank
The vehicles here are strange from the very first missions: a flying bulldozer, a tank with four missile launchers, an ornithopter with grappling hooks. There are over 130 vehicles in total. Buildings are destroyed based on physics, so you can demolish them in a variety of ways: by dismantling them piece by piece, by driving them through at full speed, by throwing something heavy at a tower, or by hacking at a support and watching the chain reaction unfold. Each destruction looks unique because the debris falls according to physics, not a preset animation.
Campaign, Stars, and Challenges
The main campaign features over 50 demolition missions, followed by special missions with new conditions. Completing the campaign with three stars unlocks new vehicles and maps. There are over 90 levels in total, spread across six regions, and the weather varies, including tropical storms. In Challenge Mode, you can replay old missions in your vehicles with modified rules and earn extra points.
Your own car and your own island
The second campaign, the epilogue, consists of over 25 missions and teaches you how to assemble vehicles in the editor. There's a variety of parts to suit every taste: saws, lasers, hooks, weights, magnets, and vortex devices. Once assembled, you can test your vehicle immediately, and in the objective-free sandbox, you can use any open maps or your own creations. The map editor allows you to build islands and structures, and players have already contributed thousands of vehicles, islands, and buildings through the Steam Workshop.
